Performances scheduled during the Oral Presentation time will be limited to a maximum of 12 minutes and require the submission of an Abstract/Artist’s Statement through the online submission form. Please indicate any special needs you may require, such as a piano, microphone, dance space, etc.
Special Considerations for Performances:
- If your performance (including any set-up/take-down) will last significantly less than 12 minutes, please indicate the estimated time in the Special Needs section of the submission form.
- If your performance consists of several separate performances from individuals, the Abstracts/Artist’s Statement may be submitted in one of the two following ways:
- (preferred) Each participant submits a separate Artist’s Statement and indicates the amount of time needed for the performance (maximum 12 minutes). Please also indicate the overall performance group.
- One participant submits a single Artist’s Statement with all the performers listed. Please indicate in the Special Needs section of the submission form the total time needed for the performances.
Note: Musical Performances scheduled during the Opening Ceremony will be invited by members of the Music Department and Showcase Committee. These performances do not require the submission of an Abstract/Artist’s Statement through the online submission form.
Please arrive at your presentation room 10 minutes before the start of the session to check in with the moderator and facilitate setup.

As a presenter, you appreciate the interest others show in your work. As participants, you are expected to reciprocate by attending presentations and performances and viewing posters and art exhibits. You are encouraged to ask questions and talk with the presenters about their work.
